Advanced Division:
Programs for ages 16-19
This program fosters discipline, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the art of ballet, empowering dancers to reach their highest potential both on and off the stage.
Performance Opportunities:
In addition to technical development, students are guided in artistic expression, stage presence, and storytelling. Dancers of this level are given the opportunity to perform leading variations in all performances of Lafayette Ballet Theatre; as well as perform with principal guest artists from international companies. Performance opportunities help dancers build confidence and prepare for collegiate dance programs or professional company auditions.

Advanced Division Audition
All students enter our ballet program through a placement class or audition. During this class, our artistic directors and faculty assess the best level for each student based on ability rather than age.
Each August, we host an audition day before the start of our new school season. If you can’t make our annual auditions, please reach out to “shannon@lafayetteballettheatre.org” to schedule a placement class.
