Lafayette Ballet Theatre with Guest Artists from the Ballet San Antonio, present the enchanting full length story ballet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Based on William Shakespeare’s comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream weaves a tale of quarrels and reconciliations between Oberon and Titania, the fairy king and queen, and the romantic misadventures of two mortal couples—all under the mischievous spell of Puck. Audiences will be captivated by the romantic, whimsical story, stunning costumes/ scenery, and the vibrant musical score of Felix Mendelssohn. One performance of pure magic!

Does LBT offer Rush tickets?
Yes! 50% off rush tickets are available for high school and college students (with proper ID).
Rush tickets can be purchased on the day of the show you are attending in person at the Heymann Center box office. Students must present a valid ID and/or qualifying documents to receive rush discounts.
What are your policies about children attending performances?
We welcome children to the ballet but recognize that not all of our performances are enjoyable for young visitors. A parent or guardian knows their child best and can decide if they are ready to attend a ballet performance. All guests, 2 and up, must have a ticket to enter the theater.
Heymann Center offers complimentary booster cushions for children on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask an usher or visit the box office to request one.
Is there a dress code for the ballet?
Nope! Although many people enjoy dressing up when they attend the ballet, there’s no dress code. At LBT performances, you’ll see people in a variety of outfits, from fabulous gowns to casual pants and sneakers. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel the most confident and comfortable!
Are food and drinks available?
The Heymann Center offers concessions in the lobby areas. Concessions typically include bottled water, soft drinks, wine, and pre-packaged snack items. All items can be taken into the auditorium. Please note that no outside food or beverages are allowed.
Does Heymann Center have a bag policy?
Heymann Center does not allow large bags, and all bags are subject to search.
What options are available for accessible seating?
The first floor of the Heymann Center is fully ADA-accessible with seating options, accessible restrooms, and drinking fountains. All wheelchair-accessible spaces have at least one adjacent companion seat. Please contact the Heymann Center Box office if you have specific questions about accessibility.
